DIETER DOEPFER:
"At present it is too early to give statements concerning the max.
speed of the
A-154. It depends upon the power and the software of the
microcontroller used in
the A-154. And this can be measured not before the first prototype is
available
and the first software is running."
"The A-154 will be a sequencer controller but not a grafic vco
controller. And I
don't think that the additional A-154 features are necessary for
grafic vco
applications. But if possible of course we will try to unclude fast
audio
clocks. But we are not planning that the internal clock of the A-154
reaches the
audio range but max about 100 Hz."
"I hope that we will have available prototypes of the A-154 and A-107
for the
NAMM show in January. Then we will decide if it is necessary to
improvements or
correct the prototype designs. So I hope that the first A-154 and A-
107 will be
available about sprint 2003 (it takes still about 3 months to obtain
the first
modules from our manufacturer as soon as we finished the development).
Yesterday(26-11-2002) we received the cases for the A-198 manuals and
Roland Mayer starts
today to built the first A-198 manuals (the A-198 modules are still
available).
So I hope the first A-198 will be shipped end of this week (user's
manual is not
yet written).
The A-102 and A-109 are in production and I hope that they will be
available
middle of December provided that our manufacturer keeps his promise."
Best wishes
