After about 4 years of playing with a basic 6U system, I've finally
managed to pursuade the 'boss' that I need another 6U. I'm keen on
including the Analogue Solutions VU Meter (VU01) as part of this -
I'd pretend that I'm planning on using it for some higher scientific
sound analysis and generation purpose but I'd be lying - I just think
it'll look cool and evoke memories of VCS3s! Since Doepfer don't
make a VU meter (yet! - I voted in the polls), the AS version seems
to be the best option. I am, however, a complete electonics imbecile
and I don't know whether I need a different power supply, connectors
etc. - if the answer is a soldering iron then I'm a gonna!! Can
anyone out there give me advice on whether/how I can include this AS
module in a Doepfer rack
