Ok, then try to put some other module (which should be in a kind of
bypassmode) between the A-138 and the SSG. Like:

A-111 -> A-138 -> otherModule -> SSG -> Cubase

This "other Module" might be a highpass filter with the cutoff frequency
turned fully anticlockwise or a VCA with gain turned fully up.
