Thanks, Bakis.
I don't understand the photo uploading problem. A guy on the
synthesizers.com list reported getting the same Yahoo error messages I
got today for about two weeks straight. It may have to do with network
traffic. I'm certain it couldn't reflect badly on the highly reputable
people of Yahoo who shield my privacy like a priceless jewel.
I recall getting all manner of serviceable sounds out of the JX-8P, but
it's in no way comparable to the A6 in range or fatness, and doesn't
come close to having that analog thing-ness that makes an A6 stand up so
well against the most ridiculously fully-outfitted virtual polysynths
out there like the Virus. They've got way more range, but the A6 has
way more authority. The analog-ness of a JX-8P wouldn't be nearly
enough to keep a Virus at bay.
