Hi everyone,
No luck over at Wigglers so I thought I should try here.
I've acquired a standard 2 x 1:4 A-180-1 which I would like to convert to a 1 x 1:8 by reinstating the solder bridge.
I just want to make sure that I know exactly what I'm soldering and, more importantly, what I'm not ...
My gut feeling is that I should solder a fine wire loop between the pair of tiny holes ( the red ring in my picture ) and, at the same time, ensure that no new solder comes into contact with either of the solder points circled in blue .
The image is here. Sorry, I'm not sure how/if i can upload directly into a Yahoo group message:

If you've done this yourself, please could you confirm my thinking or correct me, as necessary.
Best wishes to all.
