At given circumstances I had found quite useful to modulate some eurorack modules from Silent Way plug-ins, which also allow to do the other way out: to control virtual instruments from the eurorack modules. I recently discovered that Softube provided us with a new environment (the further plug-in named Modular) to get some Doepfer modules in software version. I wonder if this might be the way to get definitely rid of the Expert Sleepers software which shows a not really brilliant GUI while needing several DAW channels for each instance. I am not interested in software sound generation but simply in software version modulators. Does anybody know if the Softube Modular demands calibration procedure as well And if not, how can it be precise in scaling the ext. VCO’s
