Hi Ethan and Tommydog,
Your talking about dual basic modules, but, although a VCO
is nothing exotic, it's at the same time very important.
I think you can't have enough of them. I have 5 osc so far,
4 standard and 1 highend. I already notice that I soup them
up very quickly when making a more complex patch involving
many modules.
Dual, means often low coast and also means a bread and butter module.
Like f.e. the A-114 Ring modulator, which has no frills.
You I'm wondering what functions would be still there,
with a dual VCO
What I personally miss on the VCO's standard or highend
is a frequency knob. Yes we have a range knob with
5 and 7 positions, but what would it expand the possibilities
if you could cover a whole range!
But I'm asking probably to difficult things. It would
be nice do!
Roel.

While were talking exotic modules,
dual vcos and buchla, we should mention
the Buchla 259A Programmable Complex
Waveform Generator.
This is an annoying animated gif. Just
hit stop in your browser.
