Seems odd, there's only been maybe three group members that have
expressed interest in a std kbd in the past, but now folks are
coming out of the woodwork to say "no wood" :-)

I think a wood option would be good. The asol and synth.com keyboards
aren't really an alternative to what we're talking about.

Either alum or plastic would be okay if nicely designed. For
example, pictures of the Access Indigo look pretty slick, but in
person its ugly.

The Doepfer tradition would be to put this thing in a blue anvil case
shell. That would work also.

Okay functionality:. 3-4 octave keyboard (I still like 3 better),
octave selector, three wheels: mod, pb, extra wheel, flat surface for
the ribbon controller, velocity, 4-6 note midi poly, mono cv/gate.

Portamento on/off and speed would be nice additions.

Imbedded tkb sequencer would be okay, but another option might be
a set of integrated Drehbank controllers, possibly laid out in a
generic VCO, VCF, VCA lineup.
