This touches a theme, that will be relevant for the A-100 for surviving: No
producer of analogue modular system can neglect, that there are digital
functions, which have really great synthesis results. These functions can
be achieved in an economical manor (nearly) only in DSP hardware. As far as
I know (others may correct me) all Doepfer Hardware uses until now quite
old fashioned digital processor types.
So we run with this wish into the limits of Doepfers developping potential
for digital audio hardware (I'd be glad Chris A. proves the contrary).
That far my humpling opinion ;-)
