Hi Andreas, I use the Sh101 as my main keyboard controller for my
A100. The reason I like it so much, is it's flexibility. I use the
sequencer to do linear style sequencing i.e. basslines or lead
melodies that have values greater than a 16th note value to them. The
same reason why I want to have the Schaltwerk to have the ability to
do tied notes, so I can get away from repetitve 16th notes. You could
also use the MC202 or TB303 sequencers to great effect like the sh101.
I mult the master lfo for both the sh101 sequencer and the A155's or
I use the rim shot trigger out from the 909 to clock the sh101 or the
A155's, if i am working along midi stuff. Another plus to the 909 is
you could use it as a subdivider. the 606 will do the trick as well
and much cheaper. Hope this helps.
Regards,
RM
