Alesis powered Monitor Ones. Was using smaller monitors with less bass
end and was ending up with bass-heavy, muddy recordings. Much better
results with these. Also Sony MDR-7506 headphones. But the monitors
are more accurate in terms of what I'll hear from normal speakers.
Analog synths will challenge any monitor, with extreme highs, extreme
lows, and ridiculously fast transients.
