Seriously, though I like the way
it sounds. I like using the filter
to modify the timbre after the
envelope is applied. This approach
is critical if you set the Q high. If
the filter is approaching oscillation
you want that ringing sound to carry
after the envelope. To do that, you have
to place the VCF after the VCA. It
doesn't make much sense in a dry patch,
however, when using tons of reverb or
delay, the difference can be experienced
in ambient effects.
