It would be a great idea for Doepfer to offer blank panels without
the Doepfer logo. I would definitely buy several of them if
offered. The idea of a 5 jack, 5 pot 8hp panel sounds perfect too.
Please do it.
It's funny. I was wishing for this exact thing just this week. Even
for people who don't want to build their own circuits, this would
allows us to adopt modules from other manufacturers that are not
offered by Doepfer to our systems. (I personally want to add Buchla
style low pass gates to my system.)
In order to maximize the chance of this actually happening, lets not
make it too complpicated. 8hp 5 knob, 5 jack panels sound perfect.
Please do this Mr. Doepfer.
While we're on the subject of Buchla style low pass gates, Would
Doepfer consider actually manufacturing one The circuit must be in
the public domain, and seems to be well known. It has to be done
with vactrols, just like the original. The slow response is an
important part of the sound. Is anybody else interested in this
