I don't know if this was mentioned in the past, but after
experimenting a bit today on the A100 with the SH-101 sequencer, I
though that a useful alternate sequencer Doepfer could offer in the
future would be one that could capture incoming voltages, store them
into an 8 or 16 slot array (as well as a direct thru so one could hear
what was being programmed) and provide the ability to output the
captured voltages at a clock controlled speed either sequentially
forward, reverse, pendulum or random. A separate (or integrated)
module could handle gates, holds and rests. In essense, similar to
simplistic sequencer on the SH-101. I find this a great way to create
short sequences quickly without firing up Logic or dialing in steps on
a step sequencer.
Just a thought.
Kindest regards,
John
