Sorry, I forget sometimes that people who are not native english
speakers sometimes misunderstand special sayings like this.
In english "Sticker Shock" means "surprise at a high price on
an item".
In the future I'll try to not use these kinds of phrases on lists that
I know have a high percentage of non-english speakers on
them.

Yes, that was essentially what I was saying. Some people
decide that the "better" hardware isn't worth the extra money,
some people decide it is.
