they are STILL TOO expensive,(the buchla modules), as,
for $1130 ,you get a doepfer a191(midi-cv plus shepard
gen.)and 8 vca's and 8 a110's with a million more
inputs, outputs and knobs!doepfer told me that the 80%
of a module's price goes to the knobs and jacks and
potentiometers.so,for a doepfer "barberpole effect",
you pay 1130$ for all these circuits
AND,mainly,physical components.for the buchla
barberpole,where do your $1500 go to the circuits,that
are the cheapest parts of a module ...please,don't
tell me that they use goldplated knobs and jacks ;-)
