I read in the Doepfer ez-board list a post from about a month and a
half ago about the possiblity of the company dumping the 105 in favor
of the 108 Moog style filter.
Is this true
I have yet to see Enport add the 105 to their list and haven't gotten
around to calling.
It seems to me that reviving an instrument like the Trautonium using
modern technology and being able to intergrade it into a modular
synthesizer would be much more interesting then adding another
variation of a filter that has been emulated and copied endlessly and
is availiable from the inventer himself (though in stomp box form.)
I may be jumping the gun but that wouldn't be the first time. One of
the great advantages to using Doepfer systems is that there are many
options that are unavailible from the competitors.
I hope this rumor is untrue and I can still create the system I am in
the process of building. I do not want to settle half way.
