90% pure personal indulgence, I love playing with sound.

This ranges from atmospherics through experimental - atonal stuff, dark
& industrial electronic music, 1970's type electronic sequencer stuff
and anything in-between.

Like Bakis I avoid emulating "real" instruments, although I have been
following the Sound on Sound synthesis articles on instrument emulation
and have learnt a lot about my A100 by doing this.

Live - yes I have used the system live on several occasions. Twice as
for creating sound installations at a college gallery, one of those
allowed the people moving around the installation to interact with the
systems to change the sounds. I have also used the A100 in an
Electroacoustic concert. Here it was used to play sounds and also to
process the other musicians (Saxophone, Arabic Nay - a nose flute and a
violin).

Modular systems are the most flexible of musical tools and I adore mine
with a passion my wife doesn't and never will understand : )

pardon me if I was a bit too hard last time when I talked about
losing my interest and talking about use of A100. I still really

often wonder how everyone uses their A100. what sort of music do

compose is this professionnal like movie soundtrack or music

some shows, or also who plays concerts with A100 rock bands,
funk,
jazz or what else
because from there comes the necessity of different modules for
different use. Of course I am somewhere interrested in every
module.
for example i use my A100 at home to record like contemporaray
compositions and also use as a live instrument in
electroacoustic
improv gigs.
I didnt want to just say all this because i'd like to have
manual
gate module. i agree with someone who said we can think of a
very
developped manual gate module. i looked at the panel of the
project
for manual gate.
