As to your question about the space in the portable case, the case
has two 84hp rows, but the bottom row contains an 8hp module that
contains a power inlet and switch. So, you end up with 1 84 hp row,
and one 76 hp row.
I currently use a couple of portable cases, but I really hate the
switch/power inlet module. (Sorry Mr. Doepfer) So, I have replaced
it with a combination switch/power inlet that I have mounted on the
side of one of the cases. That same case also has an outlet on the
back and the other case has an unswitched inlet on the back. That
way, I don't have power cords sticking out of the front of the case,
and I can switch both on and off from one switch.
