The modules will be available about end of February
2004 (without obligation) as the manufacturers (pc
boards, front panels, assembly) are in holdidays until
about January 10, 2004 and it takes about 6 weeks to
manufacture the pc boards and front panels, and to
assemble and test the modules.
For the A-101-1 and A-101-3 we are not sure if the
developments will be finished in time to include these
modules to the first production series 2004. But I
think in the second production series (~ March 2004)
they will be included at the latest.
For the remaining new modules (Vactrol Low Pass Gate,
Voltage addressed Switch, Clocked Delay) it is a bit
too soon to publish a serious availability date. But I
suppose that the LP Gate and the VA switch will cause
no problems and come about April. For the Clocked
Delay we still have to do some research as we are not
sure if the microcontroller and the 12 bit ADC/DACs we
have planned for this project will be sufficient. We
also have to buy all the development tools for the new
microprocessor (assambler, compiler, linker, emulator)
and that's very expensive."
