That said, I have to admit I was always weirdly inspired by the dark,
low bandwidth sound of some of the existing mp3s, like the one for the
fixed filter bank. Some of them stand as very pretty electronic music
in themselves. I wonder how much the inherent lowpass EQ has to do with
it. Reminds me that all the poke-you-in-the-eye upper harmonics we can
get out of our modulars can sometimes screw up the musical flow.
It may just be me who has that problem.
