Was your A136 working correctly before, or is this something to do
with a particular patch It would help to know what else you have
patched into the mixer, as the A136 can invert phase, and phase can
cause cancellation.
Here's a very general idea:
Unless you attenuate the VCO going into the A136, the VCO waveform
will be clipped. I've put an image in the files section
called "neutral_A136.jpg" that shows how I get a neutral waveform
coming out of an A136.
Now with a neutral setting, the A136 inverts the phase of, as well as
amplifies, the waveform when "A" is greater than 5. When "A" is less
than 5, the waveform is simly amplified to the point of clipping.
In short, depending on what you have summed at the mixer, the phase
of the waveform coming out of the A136, and relative levels, you
might be experiencing a simple phase issue.
