listen to doepfer himself(well and me...):
"BAKIS:also,can i use the a155 as a graphic vco i
know that if i clock the a155 using a high-speed lfo
it will produce sound,right
DIETER:Right. But to speak the truth we never checked
the max. input frequency of the clock signal for the
A-155. But I'm sure up to 10kHz there should be no
problem.
BAKIS:(but the a155 produces a dc signal...)
DIETER:If you use a AC coupled module for the output
(e.g. the "old" A-130/A-131 or any filter) the DC is
converted into AC automatically. The difference is
simply a capacitor in the input stage of the following
module. One may built a simply DC-to-AC converter with
a special cable that includes a capacitor (e.g. if you
would use a A-130V2/A-131V2).
BAKIS:but can i make the a155 track the keyboard
DIETER:Simply trigger the A-155 from a VCO running at
higher frequencies (the A-111 will be the better
choice as the A-110 scale is OK only up to about 8kHz,
the A-111 should work up to about 25...30kHz).
BAKIS:if not, what do you think about releasing a
graphic vco
DIETER:It would be nothing but the fader version of
the A-155. I designes a graphic VCO with 16 faders and
integrated high-speed VCO about 20 years ago. But the
inquries were not very good due to the high costs
(about 350.00 Euro)."
