I sent this module idea to Doepfer and Dieter
responded saying that the ideas of this usergroup are
really beneficial to their product range! So I'd like
to propose a few new modules and get your feedback.

1. How about a CV-controlled compressor ! Nothing top
of the line, just a cheap little unit meant as an
"effect". Think low-end Drawmers or something like the
Alesis 3630, or even Joe Meeks...used for "slapback"
effects and a really obvious coloured sound. Add CV
control and feedback loops and you can really spice up
modular percussion sounds, basslines, etc. BTW I've
heard that there are similar modules in the Serge
line.

Other modules that I'd personally love to see in
Doepfer format but that may have a more limited
userbase:

2. CV-controlled tape delay/analogue
pitchshifter...with CV control over the speed of the
tape. I realize that finding the surplus supplies of
these tape devices is kind of hard, and they would
have to be smaller to fit in the Doepfer frame.

3. CV shortwave radio...a big knob to control the
station with CV on it also.
