Peter,

I never realised how much of a difference a tri core makes over a saw
core. Fascinating.

The timbre does have a softer feel but with (as mentioned earlier) a
high freq buzziness.

Top marks for an excellent piece of reverse engineering.

All of the FM in these samples was done with a sine controlling

another sine. The timbre is a result of the trriangle core.
