ingo,
I've be lucky to have used all of the filters listed.
The ARP2600 is a wonderful machine but this is (IMHO) due the sum of the
parts rather than specifically the filter (of which I prefer the later
post Moog version as it's sounds more like a -12db or -18db LP than a
-24db, fizzier and brighter.
The SEM filter I really like. It's destinctive and any copy must have
the SEM's ability of a rotary that move from LP to HP via BP because the
points between the modes are really interesting.
The 100M is a nice filter that is so typically late 70's early 80's
Roland (I'd prefer a copy of the SH5 filter though).
The Korg 700/700s/800DV is my second favorite (SEM first). I'm baised
here because the 700 was my first proper synth and I love the Korg
traveller, a simple combination of a LP and HP but with the limiter on
the HP because of the notches on the sliders. Worth mentioning is that
it exhibits a warm at the lower end and a brightness higher up that just
isn't found on most SVF's. Listen to Vangelis' Heaven and Hell is you
can, you'll hear what I mean.
The Yamaha CS is also I really nice fizzy filter (you may have guessed
by now that my tendency is away from the big rich Moog sound) it cuts
through a mix nicely.
My opinion.
regards
david

i'm interested in what the group thinks about the filters
in this poll.
from my understanding the yamaha filter sounds most different
compared to the already available filters, so for me it is
the most interesting one out of the poll.

best wishes
