Digital seems, in some circles, to be a dirty word.
I get the impression that digital has been looked down upon for its
inability to properly mimic analogue. But i think this is missing the
point.
Digital is, IMHO, not so good at cloning analogue, but it can do very odd
stuff that just cant be done (at least not even remotely easily) in the
analogue relm.
Is the a100 an 'analogue' machine as a rule Or is it just a synthesiser,
using the best tool availible for the job If its an 'analogue' ill shut
up, but if its a synthesizer designed to offer the most flexibility in
whatevers the best way, then Id be most happy to see a complete range of
digital modules under voltage controll. The crazier the better!
