i recall peter g commenting on how using the triangle as original source of other wave
forms has a strong influence on the 259's character. would it even matter in this regard
that the proposed expander's triangle is actually derived from a sine guess what i'm
really wondering is does it even matter where the triangle comes from
also, in general i prefer to have access to an instrument's limits (to the point it begins to
malfunction). seems that the 4 octave range would be better suited for enjoying this type
of behavior/abuse. as is often the case w modern instruments, i'm afraid much of the
magic may be lost to over-engineering.
