The sockets built in the A-100 modules can be used as switching socket,
so you do not have to replace them. The problem often is, that the track
on the pcb, that feeds the sockets signal to the circuit, connects also
the switching point. So you have to split the pcb tracks with a knive.
Also 3.5 sockets are not very reliable as switching sockets (this is not
a problem of the sockets, that are used by Doepfer, but a problem of the
small dimensions of 3,5 sockets in general). I meanwhile changed over to
dedicated additional switches instead of switching sockets (this
version is also more powerful, if you work with the A100 in a live setup).
