does the wasp filter sound like any ohter filter at all

hmm.. it has cross over into the sound of the OSCar, but i cant think of any other peices.

i have 2 wasps, an OSCar and an a124. its evident that i like the sound.

as far as the a124 goes, i find it a particularly usefull filter in that it wont self oscilate. yeah, having a filter on the edge
of self oscilation can be nice, but its also real easy to tire of that whine when you push it too far. not possible with the a124.

id say, its probably the most used filter in my system. that, and the a121 (which im not mega keen on the sound of, but its just
real convinient) and the a.sol ms20 clone, which i also love.

basicaly, if your thinking of getting a a124, id say go for it. its one of the few filters thats so obviously different.
