hello,
here are some a107 filter examples.
i've used the same drumloop again to
make comparison a bit easier.
each example is basically the same patch.
the signal is coming from an a119.
the a119 envelope follower modulates the
cutoff frequency.
the first file is eight times the same loop,
each loop with a different filtermode,
cutoff frequency, resonance level and
output level.
used modes:
no: mode: description:
-----------------------------------------------
1 01 24db lowpass
2 05 asym. bandpass 2 (18db lp + 6db hp)
3 16 lowpass + notch 2
4 10 lowpass + shifted bandpass
5 21 6db highpass
6 26 allpass with atten. low frequencies
7 24 asym. bandpass 3 (12db lp + 6db hp)
8 03 bandpass (6db lp + 6db hp)
the file is around 1 meg in size.

in the next examples morphing was used.
again the same basic patch was used,
expanded by an a147 lfo and a138a mixer
for morphing control. each example has
different settings for a107 input level,
cutoff frequency, resonance level,
morphing time and output level.
in addition the a147 lfo frequency
varied on each example and also
different lfo waveforms were used.
each file is 120 kb in size.
1. a morphing sequence going from
filter mode 02 to 03 to 02 to 01.

2. fast switching between filter mode 23 and 24.
high resonance.

3. morph from mode 11 to 08. high input level,
high resonance.

4. fast switching between mode 14 and 18.
high input level, no resonance.

5. fast morph loop going from mode 30 to 29 to 28 to 27.
high resonance, a147 square out modulates filter cutoff.

6. morphing sequence going from
filter mode 09 to 10 to 09 to 08 and back.
a147 sawtooth modulates filter cutoff.

7. a slow morphing from filter mode 32 to 23.

8. medium speed switching between modes 13 and 14.
good amount of resonance.

please refer to the a107 manual for description of
the filter modes. you will probably agree that the
a107 and the a106 are different shoes soundwise.
the a107 is more a microfibre-coated hightech
laboratory shoe, while the a106 is an ironplated
scratched doc martens ;-)
best wishes
