I don't know if this has been said before, as i must admit that i haven't been following the thread, but cutting the tapped strips
(they're about £2.60 to replace if you ever need to) or just forgetting about the tapped strips, and feeding in individual and
movable nuts in their place, has surely got to be better then drilling the faceplates.
You probably don't want to sell the system now, but if you ever do... Plus, im not sure how keen id be drilling that close to
another hole without a drill press.
Just my two pence worth at the end of the thread. I appologise if such sentiments have been shown and discussed in detail before.
