DIETER: "it has an analog-to-digital converter (ADC)
followed by a microprocessor that processes the data
coming from the ADC and outputs the result to a
digital-to-analog converter (DAC). Examples are: bit
cruncher, bit exchanger, delay, V/Oct-to-Hz/V
converter or more general a look-up-table that assigns
any input voltage a certain output voltage (this could
would lead e.g. to a digital waveshaper, wavetable
oscillator and a lot of other functions), in general a
very useful module but the available controls (manual
controls, CV inputs, attenuators, LC display, LEDs,
buttons and so on) and the type of control has to be
well-considered for each function (e.g. completely
different for a delay compared to a bit cruncher).
BAKIS: "will it be one module or 3-4 separate ones "
DIETER: "This will not least be a question of the poll
result about this module series I would recommend (or
is it already available ). But the basic researches
are identically for the complete series (new type of
microcontroller and ADC/DAC). Only for the production
we will decide how many different modules with which
controls and functions will be manufactured.
For the BBD we still wait for the samples of the US
company. We ordered them about 2 weeks ago so it may
still take some time."
GREAT news!!! right
bakis.
