Sorry for the OT stuff about the AS modules. It's your own fault, though,
for being such a well informed, considered and helpful lot :)

Bakis - I am definitely planning on getting those modules in the future
(along with most of doepfer's new ones) - I just can't afford the case +
shipping* right now in order to start the next rack so I am trying to
maximise what I have already...

* actually, on this point, how difficult is it to put the case together
Doepfer's site is covered with dire warnings about all electrical
installations only being done by suitably qualified personnel. It costs a
lot of money to send all the air inside a (largely) empty rack to where I
live and it would undoubtedly be quite a bit cheaper to ship just the parts.
However, given all those wanrings I am a bit reluctant and I'm not very
clued about electronics...
