Sorry, then the LED's on the gate out of the bus access on a A185..

Yes.. the LED will light and there will be the correct gate sent when a
key on the midi keyboard is sent-

I have not cut them. I have not been able to get any of the CV data
from the module.

I understand, but if I patch the A190 directly into a VCO, i'd see/hear

I have performed the 2 types of resets.
Hooking a multimiter to the outputs, the gate outputs a +5V gate, CV1
outputs .037 constantly and CV2 outputs between 0v and +5V depending on
velocity sent through midi. Maybe the Pot inside is cranked all the way
down I have not had this module work at any time.
