I'm with you Oliver, sort of. I think most of us really just want a Buchla
Music Easel to take out and have a lot of fun with, at least I do. I'm just
going to go about it my own way. The ultimate size and depth of modulars
(with buss boards, etc) can make for an unsexy tombstone effect. I'm
building a small case for one row of doepfer/plan B modules and am trying as
hard as possible to design it from a MiniMoog or Music Easel p.o.v. I'm
using an Alesis Micron as MIDI controller (and secondary sound source), the
3 octave size is almost perfect for fitting under a row of modules.
I'll definitely post picts of my finished case when the time comes.
Again, I'm with ya. Hopefully this interest in Buchla designs of late will
continue and Doepfer will bless us with a newfangled Buchla model 208 module
to stick on top of the TKB. Dreaming is so fun.
Best, nick
