Dear All,
As I noticed the recent call for response to the TKB polls,
I thought to share with you some of my own personal thoughts,
Not so much on the keyboard itself, but rather on the controller
module for which I feel that unique opportunities arise to implement
some convenient functionality.
Some ideas were brought up earlier and were responded to here:

Reading the notes that Dieter placed on the TKB page, the following
has recently come to my mind again. Maybe you would like to share
your comments, criticism and suggestions on the list
Maybe a new poll on this slowly will become relevant Bakis
I myself would be excited by the following functionality, in order of
my own, subjective preference.
1. A (programmable) quantizer function that complements the A-156
capabilities with some comprehensive type of scale selection.
Maybe combined with with an analog seq. function for the three rows
of knobs on the controller
2. A (programmable) arpeggiator, maybe inspired by the Oberheim
Cyclone or the one implemented in the Waldorf Q.
In the light of the above, the idea on the preliminary A-100 TKB
Webpage about a possibility for simultaneous availability of Mono and
Poly modes in the controller, seems quite exciting to me.
The other functionality mentioned (poly midi-CV converter, digital
step-sequencer) certainly also appears exciting to me, but I can
imagine that some choices are inevitable.
What do you all think on this
regards,
Joost
