As said before, forget about the Doepfer vs minimoog comparison.
Get an G6 frame and initially fill it only partly, with e.g.:
one A-110 & one A-111
one A-109, perhaps one or two other filters like 101-1, 106-1, 108 or
121
one A-143-3
two EG's (A-140-143)
an extra VCA A-130-132
Start expermenting and you will soon want (much) more, but take the
time to find out what you want.
A Doepfer A-100 is much more than a musical instrument;
it's also a laboratory, a (self)teaching device, ....
IMO Doepfer's permance/price ratio can't be beat.
