Hello fellow A-100 owners,

I'm thinking about getting the A-174 Joystick.
It says in the manual that you can cut the springs so that the stick
will not return to it's center position.
If I remove the springs, will the stick stay in the position I leave
it in (for example pointing upwards in a normal doepfer suitcase
standing up ) In this case could I use it as a substitute for the A-
176 man. cv source
