Okay, so I was planning my suggestion of drilling into the case and mounting the Mult panel, but wasn't in front of the synth while thinking about it. Now that I've sat in front of the case and felt how thick the black strips above the modules are, I'm wondering if mounting the Mult (or just the jacks) is even feasible.

What's in that area behind the A-100 logo etc . Is it hollow Is there a way to remove that strip so I can do some drilling

Drilling into the sides of the case would be easy, but that's a very last resort. Was also thinking of slicing off the sides of the mult so it is only 2 hp (and redrilling the mounting holes). So far, that looks like the most likely scenario.

Another question: has anyone on the list tried to bring their Doepfer suitcase as carryon luggage on an airplane (Recently, that is.) It seems like it should be just the right size.
I'd love to take this on the road, but I'm wouldn't want to check it with the luggage....
