Just un-patch and start again. Usually sample the patch and make some
notes (although getting that exact sound again is always difficult).

one of the patch-logistic problems is that, in order to try some
(other that your own) one have to dismantle 'current' cabling . Matrix
panel would be an awesome addition. so, how do groupers deal with that
'problem'
