No. Each gate signal in the range +5V...+12V is OK for all A-100 modules.
Many modules (e.g. the envelope generators) can even be triggered with lower
voltages (~ +2...+3V). Only voltages beyond +12V can be dangerous for some
modules. It depends upon the gate input circuit if voltages beyond +12V
could damage the module. No problems occur e.g. with A-140, A-141 or A-142.
The switch based modules (e.g. A-148, A-150, A-151, A-152) may be destroyed
with gate voltages beyond the A-100 power supply (i.e. beyond +12V).
