Hello, everybody!
I think it's wonderful that an analog (or digital for that matter)
delay module is being discussed. As I don't know much about
construction of delays, I didn't know there were technical issues in
constructing a module like this.
Does anybody know how the Blacet Time Machine is constructed Or the
old Moogerfooger delay I think BOSS has some old half-racked delay
with CV-in as well...
Anyway, why not create several delay modules It's such an
interesting effect anyway. One for longer delays and one for ultra-
short delays for physical modelling and what not. By the way, is
there any good resources where I can read more about this Karpluss-
Strong stuff It seems really interesting.
And for a delaymodule with longer delaytimes I have some more
suggestions which I would like to see. For example, a switch were you
could select between infinite echo, degenerating echo and also a pre-
destined number of taps. In the last case it would be extremely cool
to have individual CV-control for each of the tap's frequency and
amplitude. And also maybe several audio-outputs to route each
individual tap to. That would be wonderful! There are tons of
possibilities...
And finally a direct question to Dieter... Is there a possibility
that we may see a delay module anytime soon Ingo (I think it was)
said something about a digital delay module being planned How are
those plans developing What kind of features would such a module
have
And by the way, that VoSim stuff seems really intersting as well. I
just love exotic synthesis methods! Are there audio examples anywhere
