Hi, I have checked a doepfer suitcase on flights quite often. I'ts a bit scary but it's
been ok, with one exception: once a screw on the back came loose so the
powersupply came in contact with an A-112 module and burnt it's onboard 5v-
regulator. so tighten the screws before you check it in. i don't know if it came loose
beacause of vibration or if curious security personel were responsible..
for a show i played last week i felt too lazy to bring the whole case, so i just took out
a handful of modules and put them in a little cardboard box with a small power
supply. worked fine and i could take it with the hand luggage.
