The matrix idea (built into the synthi range) attracted me - I used
to have a VCS3 - But with the present big modular I've built up, I'd
need a matrix panel with around 17,000 sockets !
This would occupy a surface area at least as large as my synthesiser
front panel, over 48 inches square !
It would also cost a packet to build.
