the latest software version of the a190 is v1.4,
i don't know about any update possibility, but i guess
it's possible with an eprom exchange.
i have to check the behaviour of the a190 when i'm in the studio,
i have version 1.4, but actually i cannot recall how my a190 reacts.
meanwhile you can try to change the note assignment,
maybe "highest note" works better for you than "last note".
best wishes
ingo
