Interesting idea. This would allow me to get my 155 sequences into
Protools and then use them to drive softsynth's or use the 155's to
drive my midi hardware.
To be honest I don't think I'd want to pay too much for one of these as
it's not likely to get much usage.
Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the
Doepfer_a100 group:
Would you like Doepfer to manufacture a CV-TO-MIDI NOTES
INTERFACE Module (this module allows to convert CV+Gate
into midi note messages! So far, the doepfer a100 modular
have no such a module. The A-192 cannot do this job as
another functionality is required. in detail: as soon as
the rising edge of the gate signal is detected a midi note
on message has to be generated that corresponds to the
current voltage at the CV input. A second CV input could be
used for the velocity of the midi note on message. As soon
as the falling edge of the gate signal is detected the
corresponding midi note off message has to be generated,
independend of the voltage of the CV input at this moment.
A third, or even more, CV inputs could be used to generate
additional midi control change messages that are triggered
by the rising edge of the gate as well.)
