Ingo,
Thank you for the suggestions, none of which were in the gold book :)
I have booked myself a nice long slot to play this weekend (sad that I'm
so busy I have to pencil play time into my diary) so will give these a
try.
best wishes
David

hello david,
good to know that your module mounts fine too.
seth will come around with an in-depth manual soon.
until then, some more patch suggestions
(sorry if this doubles up for you, i haven't read
the gold book yet):
set the "rise" and "fall" knobs fully ccw and
use waveforms coming from the same vco or lfo
at the "signal input" and the "both input" and you have
a nice waveshaper with a skimmed wave output.
the wave modification is less radical than on usual
waveshapers, which is just the right ticket sometimes.
use two audio rate waveforms at the "signal input" and
the "trigger input" and experiment with the cycle switch
for sync-type sounds.
the "end of cycle" output can serve as rectangle wave output
when the vcs is used as a vco.
when used as envelope follower on an audio signal,
then the resulting envelope is bipolar and not
rectified like on an a119. try "rise" and "fall" knob values
near the two o'clock position and fiddle around a bit to find
the right values.
best wishes
ingo
