hello florian,
as i have a big modular, i use many a185's. they are
useful for me for cv buffering and also work for me as
mini multiples and monitoring of the cv and gate
signals inputed in the buss board of each a100 row.
i have also noticed that gate signals going to other
modulars sometimes need buffering!
so, i would say that if you want to control more than
3 vco's from the same cv signals, the a185 is usefull.
and you reduce the need for multiples and cable mess a
bit, as the a185 gives you access to all a140's and
a110 and a11's of the same module row via a single cv
and gate input(that of the a185).
best regards,
bakis.
