To make my life simple I purchased a Behringer PX2000 patch bay, very
inexpensive and have various CV's & gates (including the MAQ) patched
into that and ready to go.

Best bit is that you can choose between normalised, half normalised and
parallel for the sockets so the MAQ output's are always connected to my
SMS MARS but by inserting a cable from my A100 the original connection
is broken (if that's how it's configured) and no need to drill.

The cost about 33 UK pounds at the moment, worth a look.

That's just what I was meaning, about the CV side,
equally better if the CV/Gate outs were on the front
of the MAQ as well, to make patching into the A100
easier, of course you can maybe do a slight mod to
the front panel of the MAQ and remove the CV/Gate
sockets from the back and switch them to the front.

Now there's an idea Time to get my drill out!! ;)
